Privacy & cookies
This notice covers this website, general enquiries and digital-resource purchases. Clinical services require additional information about how assessment and therapy records are handled; that information is provided before the service begins.
Who is responsible?
Utter Confidence Ltd is responsible for the personal information it receives through enquiries and its customer relationships. Use the contact details above for privacy questions or requests.
Information and purposes
If you contact us, we receive the name, contact details and information you choose to share. We use this to respond, discuss suitable services and provide customer support. We process information needed for a requested service or purchase to take steps towards, or fulfil, a contract. General enquiries and complaint handling may also rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people and running the practice. Financial records are retained where required by law.
Please keep a first enquiry brief. Do not email detailed child health records or sensitive documents until a suitable sharing method is agreed. Any health information needed for clinical care is handled under the relevant clinical privacy information and applicable data-protection conditions.
Purchases and service providers
Purchases open on Payhip. Payhip and the payment provider process checkout, payment and download information under their own notices. Utter Confidence receives the order and customer information needed to fulfil and support the purchase. We do not collect card details on this website. Contact information is handled through the email and communications services used by the practice. It is not sold or used for unsolicited marketing; marketing emails require an appropriate basis and an option to opt out.
Read Payhip’s privacy policy and the payment provider’s notice presented at checkout for their processing, storage and international-transfer arrangements.
Retention and your rights
Enquiry information is kept for the time needed to respond, arrange support and deal with any related questions or complaints. Order and accounting records are kept for applicable legal and tax requirements. Clinical records have a separate retention policy. Contact us for the retention period applying to your information or to request deletion; information needed for legal obligations cannot always be deleted immediately.
You may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and may have rights to object or receive portable information. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. These rights depend on the circumstances. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
This website
The page’s own code uses no advertising trackers, analytics cookies or embedded checkout. The hosting service processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. Following a link to Payhip or another website brings you under that provider’s cookie and privacy information.
Digital resource terms of sale
These terms cover the digital resource packs linked from this website. Read the relevant Payhip listing, included licence and checkout information before buying. Clinical services and webinars have separate booking arrangements agreed before payment.
What you receive
These are downloadable resources, not printed products, clinical assessments or an individual therapy programme. The listing identifies the edition, content, file formats, price and licence. A purchase does not include other packs, appointments or training unless the listing expressly says so. English editions are linked on this website.
Payhip provides access after successful payment and sends order and download information by email. You will need a device able to download the files, unzip an archive where supplied and open PDFs. Printing requires your own printer or print service. If files are missing, corrupted or inaccessible, contact us with your order number.
Licence and sharing
A home edition is licensed to one household. A setting edition is licensed to one named school or nursery site. Staff within that site may use the pack with enrolled children and share selected printed sheets with their families. They may not distribute the full digital pack to families or other sites. The Everyday Communication Toolkit allows printed posters for enrolled families with branding retained. Follow any more specific licence supplied with the product.
Copyright remains with Utter Confidence or the identified rights holder. Do not resell, rebrand, upload publicly or redistribute digital files. Ask about a multi-site licence. These licences do not describe a practitioner distribution edition.
Use and suitability
Targeted speech-sound practice and contrast activities require an SLT-agreed plan, suitable cues and review. The resources support, but do not replace, speech and language therapy. Participation is optional; respect passing and stopping, and keep established AAC and other communication supports available. No particular clinical outcome is guaranteed.
Payment and rights
Payhip handles checkout with its payment providers. The checkout displays the final amount and any applicable taxes before you pay. Your statutory consumer rights are not excluded or limited by these terms. English law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in the courts available to you by law.
Refunds & cancellations
Contact us with your order number and a brief explanation if you need help or want to cancel a purchase. Do not send card details.
Digital downloads and the cancellation period
Consumers normally have a 14-day cancellation period for a distance purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, that cancellation right ends only where you have expressly consented to supply starting during that period and acknowledged that starting supply means losing that right. The required confirmation must also be provided. Merely downloading a file does not remove rights if those requirements were not met.
If immediate supply has not begun on that basis and you are within the applicable cancellation period, contact us to cancel. Where the cancellation right has validly ended, a change-of-mind refund is not normally available. We will consider any other issue individually.
Faulty or misdescribed content
Your rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails applicable consumer standards remain. Depending on the circumstances, a remedy can include repair or replacement, a price reduction or refund as required by law. Contact us promptly so we can help. Payhip provides the sales platform; contact Utter Confidence for the order’s refund decision.
See GOV.UK information about digital-download consent and cancellation.
Help & complaints
Contact Layla Guddam at l.guddam@utterconfidence.co.uk, call 07379 966306, or write to Utter Confidence Ltd at the registered office above.
Tell us what happened, the relevant order number or service, and how you would like it resolved. For clinical concerns, please request a secure way to share sensitive information. We will acknowledge your complaint and agree how and when to respond, keeping you informed if investigation takes longer.
For data-protection concerns, you can contact the ICO. For concerns about an HCPC-registered professional’s fitness to practise, the HCPC explains when and how to raise a concern. This does not replace our route for routine service complaints or refunds.
